The first AI-powered smart glasses developed in Wenzhou — the
Looktech AI Glasses — officially rolled off the production line in Ouhai District. This
milestone marks Wenzhou’s entry into the smart wearable sector and signifies a
major step forward in the transformation of Ouhai’s traditional eyewear industry
toward tech-driven innovation.

Developed jointly by Looktech and Wenzhou Ouhai Glasses Co., Ltd., the device
integrates four key functions: eyewear, headphones, a high-resolution camera, and
an AI assistant. Weighing only 34 grams, the glasses feature ultra-lightweight
materials for both the frame and temples — comparable in weight to standard wide-
rim glasses and currently among the lightest in their category.
The camera is equipped with a 13MP sensor, supporting 2K video recording and 4K
photo capture, along with advanced features like electronic stabilization and horizon
leveling — enabling users to shoot high-quality, stable content even in complex
environments.
At the company’s cleanroom facility in Ouhai, precision components are assembled
via standardized processes on an automated line capable of producing up to 70 units
per hour, with an annual capacity of 150,000 units. A CNY 9 million export order is
already in place, with shipments to North America scheduled to begin by the end of
July — officially launching Ouhai’s smart glasses into global markets.
"Smart glasses are eyewear first," said Yi Haoxiang, CEO of Looktech. "In addition to
powerful AI capabilities, they must be stylish and comfortable to wear. Looktech
continues Ouhai’s legacy of craftsmanship — balancing technology with aesthetics
and comfort. That’s why this partnership makes so much sense."
