The Chinese Spring Festival blockbuster ‘Pegasus 3’ has roared to success, thrilling

audiences with its stunning visual effects. Recently, during an investor Q&A session

on an interactive platform, Insta Innovation was asked: “Is it true that all the

panoramic and vehicle-mounted cameras used in the film were supplied by your

company?”

On February 25, the company responded, confirming: “The Insta360 Titan VR

camera and X5 panoramic camera were used to support the filming of select scenes

in ‘Pegasus 3’, helping push the boundaries of visual storytelling through professional

imaging technology.” Insta also emphasized its focus on delivering unique

experiences across vertical scenarios, highlighting its strong product design and R&D

capabilities, ownership of multiple core technologies, and growing competitive edge

in the intelligent imaging space.

The Insta360 Titan VR camera features eight 4/3 sensors and captures 11K ultra-

high-definition video -bringing every overtake and dust cloud into sharp focus, even

on rugged terrain. Meanwhile, the X5 panoramic camera offers a “shoot first, frame

later” flexibility, recording every angle of the action in 360 degrees. This allows

filmmakers to preserve the full dynamics of the vehicle and environment, then

reframe in post-production - making every moment of speed and intensity feel

breathtakingly real.

Insta360’s expertise in action imaging has made it a go-to choice for high-speed

capture. The company has previously partnered with Porsche as the exclusive

imaging partner for its driving experience in desert, proving its reliability in extreme

environments. It also teamed up with BMW Motorrad to develop a co-branded X5

camera tailored for riding, with features like handlebar remote control and real-time

riding data overlay. The ultra-compact GO series, small enough to wear or

magnetically mount inside a vehicle, adds even more creative perspectives from the
