HTC has launched its groundbreaking wearable AI eyewear, VIVE Eagle, a stylish and lightweight smart glasses designed to transform the way we interact with the world. The VIVE Eagle integrates cutting-edge AI-powered features like voice assistance, smart photography, video, real-time language translation, and music playback—all packed into a sleek, minimalist frame with ZEISS lenses to protect your eyes without compromising style.

Weighing less than 49 grams, these glasses promise supreme comfort with adjustable nose pads and contoured temples, making them perfect for daily use. The device features an ultra-wide 12MP camera that lets users capture high-quality photos and videos through simple voice commands, enhancing hands-free convenience.

What sets VIVE Eagle apart is its advanced AI voice assistant, powered by HTC’s VIVE AI which connects seamlessly with OpenAI’s ChatGPT and Google Gemini. This allows natural interaction without the need to look at a screen or use hands—for tasks such as taking photos, recording reminders, and even dining recommendations. Moreover, the glasses support real-time translation in 13 languages, turning text captured by the camera into spoken audio instantly. This tool is tailor-made for travelers or anyone navigating a multilingual environment.

For audio, the VIVE Eagle offers an open-ear system that provides rich, spatial sound without isolating you from the surrounding environment—ideal for calls, music, or voice translations. Battery life is impressive too, with up to 36 hours of standby and 4.5 hours of continuous music playback, coupled with a fast magnetic charging system that restores half the battery in just 10 minutes.

HTC emphasizes privacy and security, ensuring that all data is stored locally, encrypted with AES-256 standards and not used for AI training. Additionally, a dedicated LED signals active photo or video capture to maintain transparency.

Currently, VIVE Eagle is launching first in Taiwan in partnership with Taiwan Mobile and 2020EYEhaus, available for pre-order with plans for telecom partnerships to broaden access soon. Priced at around $521 (NT$15,600), these glasses promise a futuristic glimpse into the daily use of AI-integrated wearable tech that aims to boost freedom, efficiency, and style in everyday life.

HTC’s VIVE Eagle is positioned as a bold new step in smart wearable technology, challenging existing products with its unique fusion of AI, fashion, and fun. This is not just eyewear—it’s a new way of living smart.
