DREAMSMART released a teaser video on its official Weibo account,
showcasing features of the upcoming generation of its StarV AI glasses. According to
the video, the next-gen StarV glasses will support photography, eye-tracking, AI
facial recognition, and more.
It’s worth noting that the offline payment features previously promoted in late April
also appears in this teaser. This function is made possible through collaboration with
Alipay+, leveraging its advanced payment technology. DREAMSMART integrates
multiple technical capabilities of its AR glasses—such as waveguide display, noise-
canceling voice input, and camera-based scanning—to enable this feature.
The video also suggests that the new StarV glasses continue the stylish design of the
previous generation StarV Air2, retaining the waveguide optical solution and
monochrome light engine display. However, with the addition of a camera and eye-
tracking, it’s estimated that the price may range between CNY 2,000 and 3,000, with
a likely release next month.
