Baidu’s XIAODUAI Glasses Pro to begin pre-sale on Nov 1

It was reported that Baidu’s AI glasses project, “XIAODUAI Glasses,” will

open for pre-sale on November 1, with in-stock sales starting on November 10. The first

release will be the Boston Sunglasses edition, with other models to follow. The glasses’

functions include shooting, AI translation, AI object recognition, AI notes, and AI recording.

Last week, reports indicated that Baidu’s XIAODUAI Glasses would officially launch at Baidu

World 2025 in November, with sales planned before the end of the year.

At the 2024 Baidu World Conference held last November, Baidu unveiled the original

XIAODUAI AI glasses, claiming it to be “the world’s first native AI glasses equipped with a

Chinese large language model.” The glasses feature first-person view shooting, on-the-go

Q&A, calorie recognition, object encyclopedia, audiovisual translation, and smart notes.

Industry insiders believe the official launch of XIAODUAI AI glasses will allow Baidu to

establish a complete layout in smart devices, spanning voice assistants, smart home, and

wearable AI devices, laying the foundation for a future “AI personal assistant” form.

Currently, the AI glasses industry is transitioning from technical exploration to large-scale

commercial use. Recognized as the next-generation human-computer interaction interface, AI

glasses are expected to gradually overcome existing bottlenecks and achieve adoption in

both consumer and enterprise markets as hardware continues to evolve and software

ecosystems expand.
