Rokid Partners with Alipay to Launch the World’s First Smart Glasses PaymentSolution

During the Rokid & Alipay New Product Launch Media Experience Event, Rokid

unveiled its latest Rokid Glasses smart eyewear and announced a partnership with Alipay to

introduce the world’s first smart glasses payment feature—"Look-and-Pay."

The “Look-and-Pay” function utilizes the smart glasses’ 12MP camera in conjunction with

Alipay’s intelligent QR code recognition algorithm. After the user says the activation phrase

“Look-and-Pay,” the glasses automatically scan the QR code and complete the transaction.

The entire process is displayed on the glasses' screen, eliminating the need to operate a

mobile phone.

Rokid stated that the Glasses are integrated with Alipay’s multi-dimensional risk control

system to ensure the safety of each transaction. The system guarantees secure device usage

and personal authentication for payments, promising full compensation in the event of

unauthorized transactions.

According to Alipay, the feature offers convenience, security, and privacy. Once users activate

the smart glasses with a voice command, the built-in recognition system enables payment,

doubling efficiency compared to traditional methods.

From a security standpoint, both the activation and execution of payments must be initiated

by the user. The solution includes real-time risk verification and a multi-factor authentication

system based on voiceprint recognition.
