Rokid shared a post highlighting the use of their smart glasses during the
live broadcast of Typhoon Danas coverage on Zhejiang TV’s program Beautiful
Zhejiang. As Typhoon Danas, the fourth typhoon of 2025, approached the southern
Zhejiang and Fujian coast, the host wore Rokid Glasses, which projected a massive
amount of real-time data and accurate scripts directly into the host's field of view via
the teleprompter feature.
In the fast-paced world of live broadcasting, especially when reporting on fast-
evolving events like a typhoon, traditional teleprompters often suffer from fixed
screen positioning, which can cause eye shifts or delays in switching information.
Rokid Glasses solved this problem by seamlessly integrating the information into the
host's natural line of sight, allowing them to focus more on the content and engaging
with the audience.
Despite the demanding live broadcast environment, the host delivered the report
smoothly, maintaining a natural gaze toward the camera without any noticeable signs
of looking down at the script or getting distracted by the teleprompter.
The use of Rokid Glasses in the news studio is just a glimpse of their powerful
capabilities, showcasing the latest evolution of AI hardware—seamlessly integrating
advanced AI and AR technologies into everyday wearable glasses, making them a
personal smart assistant.
Maintaining the appearance and comfort of regular glasses, Rokid Glasses
supercharge users' experience by overlaying information onto the real world. With
features like a built-in headset, teleprompter, and camera, users can easily access
tasks such as real-time translation, calendar reminders, information searches, and
navigation through simple voice commands or a tap on the frame.
