PICO announced a strategic partnership with the Blender Foundation
overseas, establishing PICO as an official contributor to the Blender OpenXR
development program.

This cooperation aims to go beyond traditional content creation interfaces and
simplify production workflows, while ensuring OpenXR cross-platform compatibility,
optimizing and accelerating possibilities for XR artists and developers worldwide.
Previously, on its 10th anniversary, PICO XR released Enterprise OS 5.13, which
optimized location-based entertainment (LBE) features and large-scale commercial
XR deployments. During the celebration, PICO XR’s VR and MR headset product
lineup was also completed.
To mark the anniversary, PICO updated its enterprise operating system with
extensive optimizations. This update follows Meta’s recent addition of third-party
MDM integration for enterprise customers, reflecting growing market demand for
improved device management tools.
Shortly after, PICO XR released Business Device Manager 1.6.0 with enhanced
capabilities. This version now supports deployment of OBB and ROM file types and
improves tools for controlling VR/MR device clusters.
As enterprise XR solution providers mature in the late 2020s, the market continues to
provide steady support to AR/VR/MR sectors, with customers increasingly exploring
and investing in XR technology.
