The MediSim VR Simulation Lab was officially inaugurated at The Oxford Medical College, Hospital & Research Centre in Bengaluru, Karnataka. This cutting-edge initiative marks a significant milestone in immersive healthcare training, offering students a transformative bridge between theoretical learning and real-world clinical experience.

The launch event was graced by the esteemed Chief Guest, Dr. Vijayalakshmi I. Balekundri, Professor Emeritus and Former Head of Pediatric Cardiology at Shri Jayadeva Institute of Cardiovascular Sciences and Research. Her presence underscored the importance of innovation in medical pedagogy and the value of experiential learning in shaping competent, confident healthcare professionals.

The ceremony was further dignified by the leadership of Dr. S. N. V. L. Narasimha Raju Garu, Chairman of The Oxford Medical College, and Shri Y. Srinivasulu, Director of the institution.

Their vision and commitment to academic excellence have been instrumental in fostering collaborations that push the boundaries of traditional medical training.

The MediSim VR Simulation Lab is designed to immerse students in lifelike clinical scenarios, enabling them to hone critical skills in a safe, controlled environment. From emergency response drills to complex surgical procedures, the lab empowers learners to practice, make decisions, and learn from outcomes—without the risks associated with live patient care.

This collaboration reflects a shared mission to redefine how future doctors are trained. By integrating advanced simulation technologies into the curriculum, Oxford Medical College is setting a new benchmark for medical education in India.

As partners in this visionary endeavor, we are proud to support institutions that champion innovation, inclusivity, and excellence. Together, we are shaping the future of healthcare—one simulation at a time.
