Lao Feng Xiang’s AI Smart Glasses Debut at AID Expo, Expected to Launch inJuly

Lao Feng Xiang showcased its first AI-powered smart glasses at the
International Exhibition of Senior Care, Rehabilitation Medicine and Healthcare (AID
Expo) held at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre. The glasses are
equipped with the Doubao large language model and are designed specifically to
support the daily needs of elderly users emotional support.
The device features four key functions:
Real-time voice navigation, accurately recognizing spoken commands to help seniors
overcome the common challenge of navigating unfamiliar routes with more
confidence and ease.
Instant translation, enabling fast and accurate translation across multiple languages
to support communication and understanding in multilingual environments.
Smart reading assistance, including features such as medication label recognition
and menu translation, allowing users to easily access important information.
Conversational support and real-time explanations, providing natural voice
interactions to keep seniors company, answer questions, and offer friendly
assistance.
Lao Feng Xiang’s Party Secretary and Chairman, Yang Yi, stated:
“While developing fashionable products for young consumers, we are also committed
to creating practical, tech-driven solutions for seniors. In the future, we will continue
to focus on aging-friendly technologies, improving functionality and user experience,
and setting a new standard for traditional brands embracing innovation.”
According to sources familiar with the matter, Lao Feng Xiang’s AI smart glasses are
expected to be officially released in July.
