Huawei Reportedly Enter Smart Eyewear Market with AI-Powered Glasses Supporting HarmonyOS

A technology blogger from China "Digital Chat Station" reported that
Huawei is preparing to launch its AI glasses in the first half of this year. The
upcoming wearable device is said to integrate photography and audio functions,
support HarmonyOS-enabled cross-device collaboration, and offer features such as
real-time translation.
According to the leak, the glasses will mark Huawei's entry into photography-enabled
smart eyewear, complemented by an enhanced audio system. This combination is
expected to facilitate hands-free calling, music playback, and photo capture, making
the device particularly suitable for outdoor activities and sports. Running on
HarmonyOS, the glasses will enable seamless connectivity and interaction across
smartphones, PCs, tablets, and other compatible devices. Additional AI-driven
functions, including real-time translation, are also reported to be included, further
enriching the user experience.
From a design perspective, the blogger revealed that the glasses will incorporate
three built-in lithium batteries while maintaining a lightweight form factor. Color
options are expected to include Flowing Light Silver, Titanium Silver Gray, and
Modern Black.
The leak also hints at several unannounced features, heightening anticipation among
consumers. Huawei has yet to confirm official details regarding the product’s launch
