Ant Group is Hiring a Product Expert for AI Smart Glasses

Recently, a job posting revealed that Ant Group is looking to hire a Product Expert for

AI Smart Glasses.

According to the job description, the candidate will be responsible for designing the

application features of AI smart glasses, developing and testing various prototype

product solutions, and collaborating with the main product team to select the optimal

solutions. Additionally, the role will involve researching the design paradigms for AI

glasses applications and producing structured documentation and plans.

The job requirements specify that applicants should have at least 5 years of

experience in consumer-facing products, with experience managing primary products

preferred. Applicants familiar with various VR, AR, and AI glasses on the market and

who possess unique insights will be given priority.

In November 2024, Rokid, an AR glasses manufacturer collaborating with Alibaba's

large model, announced that their AR glasses, equipped with Xiaobao, would enable

users to quickly book tickets, order food, hail a taxi, and search for nearby

entertainment through voice commands. Additionally, Rokid mentioned that, in the

future, users wearing Rokid AR glasses could scan payment QR codes with the

glasses' camera, verbally confirm payment amounts, and use voiceprint for identity

verification, enabling fast, small-amount payments.

As the new-generation flow entry point, AI glasses have attracted significant

attention. The market is generally optimistic about the widespread adoption of AI

glasses by 2025 in the edge computing space. Recently, industry insiders revealed

that Xiaomi's AI glasses might be released ahead of schedule in April, with multiple

AI glasses products from Xiaomi, Baidu, China Telecom, and others expected to be

launched in the second quarter of the year.
