OHO Sunshine Expands Overseas with New Launch; AI Smart Glasses to Go onSale from USD 199

China’s smart glasses brand OHO sunshine, which has long focused on overseas

markets, has recently begun to accelerate its expansion into the domestic market. On

June 4, it officially launched its app, further entering China’s fast-growing AI glasses

market.

According to the company, OHO sunshine is positioned as “a fashionable smart

glasses brand for young people” and has long focused on audiovisual and open-ear

audio experiences. Its products cover outdoor, commuting, leisure, and entertainment

scenarios. The brand previously sold mainly in overseas markets and has already built

a user base on platforms such as Amazon US.

According to Amazon US smart glasses sales rankings in November 2025, three

products in the OHO Smart Glasses A8 Pro series entered the top 10, making OHO

sunshine one of the brands with the largest number of products on the list. These

products were mainly priced between USD 34.99 and USD 39.99, placing them

among the lower-priced products in the current overseas smart glasses market.

However, these products are mainly positioned as open-ear audio glasses and support

only basic functions such as Bluetooth audio playback and voice assistant activation.

They do not provide full AI capabilities.

In the AI glasses segment, OHO sunshine has also launched the higher-end OHO

Sunshine Edge Pro, priced at about $199 to $299 on Amazon. The product is

equipped with a 4K camera, supports two-way AI language translation, and offers

features such as real-time voice translation, photo capture, and local storage.

Compared with mainstream AI glasses such as Ray-Ban Meta and Oakley Meta,

which generally sell for more than $300, OHO Sunshine is priced significantly lower

and is clearly targeting the mass consumer market. The company also officially

launched its app yesterday, and it is now available in the Apple, Xiaomi, Honor, and

OPPO app stores. It will later be launched on Huawei, vivo, and Google Play as well.

According to the company, the app integrates both ChatGPT and Tongyi Qianwen

large models and supports AI chat, real-time translation, photo translation, voice

interaction, and cross-border online shopping. Its translation function supports two-

way translation in 165 languages, covering face-to-face translation, real-time

interpreting, and text translation.
