Next-Gen AR/VR Innovation Hub-Industry Titans Join Hands to Shape Digital Pioneers

GL Bajaj Institute of Technology and Management in Greater Noida has inaugurated its state-of-the-art Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality (AR/VR) Centre of Excellence, marking a significant commitment to innovation and industry-driven education. The launch event, held on September 2, 2025, welcomed dignitaries and leaders from various top technology companies, including ThoughtWorks, LTIMindtree, Newgen, ServiceNow, Cisco Networking Academy, Ericsson, Palo Alto, Myntra, Coforge, Fidelity, Emerson, and VVDN, highlighting the collaborative power of industry and academia. Training support will be provided by Algorix.

The AR/VR Centre is designed to provide students with advanced skills and experiential learning in immersive technologies, offering hands-on experience relevant to engineering, healthcare, manufacturing, e-commerce, cybersecurity, and product design. With modern infrastructure and high-end tools, the lab aims to empower students to develop innovative solutions and equip them for the evolving demands of the digital workforce. Mr. Pankaj Agarwal, Vice Chairman of GL Bajaj Educational Institutions, emphasized the center’s role as a platform where knowledge meets innovation, bridging the gap between academia and real-world industry needs.
