Geely Chairman Li Shufu Delivers Off-Script Speech, Showcases AR Glasses

On March 25, Li Shufu, Chairman of Geely Holding Group, delivered a speech at the

2025 Shanghai Global Investment Promotion Conference while wearing the StarV

Air2 AR glasses from DreamSmart as a teleprompter. According to Li, the core R&D

team and key supply chain for these glasses are based in Shanghai, and the product

has already undergone two generations of mass production, gaining validation from tens of thousands of users.

As part of Geely’s AI technology ecosystem, StarV Air2 offers real-time projection of

speech scripts onto the lenses, synchronizing content display with the speaker’s

pace. It also features AI-powered real-time translation, AR navigation, and an AI

meeting assistant. Focused on AI innovation, DreamSmart has developed its own

Flyme AI model, integrating leading third-party AI models such as Tongyi Qianwen,

ByteDance Doubao, and Baidu Ernie Bot, while also being one of the first to adopt

DeepSeek AI.

To date, StarV Air2 has served over 50,000 users, establishing itself as a

breakthrough product in the AR industry.
