The Shenyang Public Security Traffic Police R&D Center in Liaoning
Province, China announced a major technological breakthrough: the successful
integration of its self developed Cross Modal Driving Offenses High Precision
Detection System with AR smart glasses. This advancement establishes an end to
end management framework - enabling intelligent detection, precise alerts, and rapid
response to traffic violations.
Central to this innovation is the cross modal intelligent system, which utilizes
multimodal large model architecture for sophisticated reasoning across data types.
By tapping into Shenyang’s comprehensive traffic management database, the
system can interpret visual inputs from roadside sensors and cameras, accurately
identifying violations that are often difficult to detect - including illegally modified
vehicles used in street racing and other high impact offenses.
Equally transformative is the fusion of this intelligent system with AR glasses,
effectively bridging the “last mile” gap in field enforcement. Officers wearing the
glasses gain not only real time visual oversight of traffic, but also data driven insights
drawn from deep vehicle profile analysis. This dual layer visibility ensures that even
heavily disguised illegal vehicles are recognized and can be addressed promptly.
