China’s First LBE XR Project Released Alongside a Feature Film: Nobody, Walk WithYou XR

Recently, WooHooo XR Smart Cinema celebrated the grand opening of its first flagship store.

On the same day, China’s very first Location-Based Entertainment (LBE) XR project launched in sync with a feature film — Nobody, Walk With You XR.

Building on the world of the animated movie, the XR experience introduces an all-new

storyline that continues from the film’s climactic “Battle with Huangmei.” After this fierce fight,

the four magic hairs gifted by Sun Wukong unleash unexpected power, reshaping the fate of

the little monsters.

With XR headsets and large-space positioning, players step into the virtual world of “Langlang

Mountain,” transforming into characters such as the Pig Demon, Gorilla Monster, Toad Spirit,

or Weasel Spirit. Guided by the Yellow Dog King, players will face Huangmei once again,

resolving the “unfinished chapter” left in the movie. The experience supports up to four

players, with each role offering unique perspectives and interactive mechanics. After

retrieving equipment from the dungeon, characters even undergo a dramatic “transformation.”

The animated film Nobody was released nationwide during this summer season. Within just

13 days, it became the highest-grossing 2D animated film in Chinese box office history. To

date, its box office has surpassed 1.6 billion CNY, ranking among the top five animated films

of all time in China.
